Sous l'aile de Mako, Tatsuiko fait ses premiers pas dans le milieu malgré sa réticence initiale. Manque de chance pour lui, il arrive en pleine période de rivalité exacerbée entre sa boite et un concurrent, la société Harlem. La situation dégénère rapidement, d'autant que Hideyoshi, un des meneurs de Harlem, semble avoir une rancœur personnelle vis-à-vis de Tatsuhiko.
