What it’s about. Peu de temps après avoir causé un accident qui a tué son fils, John Reilly apprend qu'il est l'héritier d'un château situé en Italie. Il décide donc de se rendre sur place visiter les lieux avec sa femme et sa fille, aveugle depuis l'accident. La fameuse demeure appartenait à une duchesse qui gardait secrètement un de ses fils dans le sous-sol. À chaque jour, elle torturait le pauvre garçon qui a aujourd'hui une apparence monstrueuse. Lors de sa mort, la duchesse a non seulement laissé derrière elle son château, mais aussi son fils!! Après une nuit passée dans le château, le monstre s'échappe et s'en prend à la famille Reilly!
