Krotoa (2017) : distribution, intrigue et streaming

What it’s about. Krotoa, une fille de 11 ans fougueuse et brillante, est retirée de sa tribu très unie Khoi pour servir Jan van Riebeeck, le partenaire commercial de son oncle et le premier gouverneur de la colonie du Cap. Elle est amenée dans le premier fort établi par la Compagnie néerlandaise des Indes orientales en 1652. Là, elle devient une jeune femme visionnaire qui assimile si bien la langue et la culture néerlandaises qu'elle se lève pour devenir une traductrice influente mais finit par être rejetée par son propre peuple alors qu'elle tente de combler le fossé entre les deux cultures sur le point de se heurter.
