Incrédule, mais poussé par la curiosité, Stefano enquêtera inlassablement afin de retrouver les auteurs de ce document. Il lui faudra démêler un écheveau d'événements inexplicables et sans lien apparent les uns avec les autres. Il deviendra tour à tour spectateur, acteur et victime d'une histoire pleine de rebondissements sanglants.
