C'est alors qu'ils découvrent qu'au XVIIe siècle, à Séville, il y a eu une expédition de Japonais qui sont venus dans un beau village au bord d'une rivière, son nom : Coria del Río. A cet endroit, le descendant de l'empereur s'installa et forma une famille. Tous les fils du samouraï étaient des hommes. Cela fera que le destin de la famille de Paco Japon l'élu pour occuper la place de l'empereur défunt à Tokyo. Avec sa famille, Paco s'installera dans le palais impérial où il devra apprendre à vivre en tant que nouvel empereur du pays japonais, avec les heurts culturels et linguistiques que l'expérience apportera.
