What it’s about. Jeff a 38 ans, une carrière d'artiste photographe au point mort, une petite amie ravissante, un boulot qui l'ennuie et des rêves trop grands pour lui. Tout va basculer le jour où un vieillard excentrique lui confie un très ancien appareil photo. Parmi les clichés de Jeff surgit celui, sublime, d'une jeune femme belle et triste. Une photo qu'il n'a pas prise mais qui lui apporte le succès et la reconnaissance en même temps qu'une avalanche de problèmes. Car Anna, la jeune inconnue de la photo, est morte assassinée dans d'étranges circonstances. Son visage mélancolique va venir hanter Jeff, jusqu'à la lisière de la folie, et faire peu à peu basculer sa vie dans l'étrange.
