Jeong est déçu des transformations de l'ancien village en construisant un hôtel. Young-Datl et M. Jeong restent à Sampo non pas en tant que ville natale mais en tant que lieu de vie. Baek-Hwa quitte Sampo avec un billet que Young-Dal lui achète avec ses derniers sous.
