What it’s about. Pour Yeon-Hee (Moon Chae-Won), la vie s’est arrêtée voici soixante années…Depuis le jour où la guerre de Corée (1950-1953) l’a brusquement séparée de son jeune époux, Min-Woo (Go-Soo), qu’elle aimait tant. Ainsi, jour après jour elle l’attend inlassablement, répétant comme pour se rassurer les mêmes petits gestes du quotidien. Sa mémoire n’est plus très bonne, elle oublie facilement le présent, mais se raccroche de toutes ses forces aux quelques bribes de souvenirs qu’il lui reste encore. Lorsqu’un jour, on lui annonce qu’elle va enfin pouvoir retrouver son mari, l’espace de quelques heures seulement… (Calla)
