What it’s about. Shuichi est fiancé à Sanae et ils vont se marier bientôt. Un jour, Shuichi conduit une voiture et son ami Teru est assis à la place du passager. Il accélère parce qu'il est en retard pour une réunion au sujet de sa prochaine cérémonie de mariage. Sur le chemin, il heurte une femme et s'enfuit. La femme meurt plus tard et ses parents Hikaru et Chizuko Tokiyama sont fous de chagrin. Le détective vétéran Kozaburo Yanagi et la nouvelle recrue Shun Maeda enquêtent sur l'affaire du délit de fuite.
