What it’s about. Hibiki Akui est une jeune fille très sensible de 15 ans douée pour l'écriture. Elle a grandi dans une famille ordinaire. Son père est fonctionnaire, sa mère femme au foyer et ses frères aînés étudient dans une université. Un jour, le magazine de littérature «Mokuren» reçoit un manuscrit de son roman «Otogi no Niwa». Le roman est nommé pour le prix Rookie of the Year du magazine de littérature, mais le roman ne satisfait pas à certaines conditions du prix et est écarté. La rédactrice en chef du magazine, Fumi Hanai, trouve le roman dans une poubelle et s'y intéresse.
