What it’s about. Le film est une version doublée en italien réédité de Godzilla avec 80 minutes de séquences de l'original Gojira (1954) et la version américaine Godzilla, le roi des monstres ! (1956) plus 25 minutes de séquences d'actualités sur la Seconde Guerre mondiale et d'extraits d'autres films de monstres des années 1950. Le film réédité a ensuite été colorisé via un procédé appelé Spectorama 70 consistant à appliquer divers gels colorés sur les images en noir et blanc. Le film présente également une nouvelle partition musicale composée par le musicien Vince Tempera (sous le pseudonyme Magnetic System).
