What it’s about. Léa, 18 ans, abandonnée par son amant boxeur Réo. Elle cherche alors du reconfort auprès de sa mère Lizette. Mais cette dernière est à son tour séduite par Réo. Tentant d'échapper à la passion de Manon, l'écrivain tombe amoureux de Léa. Désabusée, Manon se retire dans un couvent. Lizette et Réo quittent la ville. Marcel, désespéré, se suicide. Léa s'enfuit vers le Wyoming avec Chester.
