What it’s about. En 1941, Bill Kruggs, habitant de Punxatawney en Virginie, est le premier habitant de sa ville à s'enrôler dans l'armée américaine après les attaques de Pearl Harbor. Encouragé par ses paires et ses parents, le jeune homme est envoyé au camp d'entraînement de Fort Wayne, dans le Missouri.
