What it’s about. Ne supportant plus son «amie» Elvira, qui vit à ses crochets, Germaine s'empare d'un couteau et la blesse avant de s'évanouir. A son réveil, Germaine explique à son mari, le professeur Vagnuzzi, les tenants et les aboutissants de sa mésaventure. Avant de faire sa connaissance, elle faillit épouser Paolo, un ami d'enfance, lorsque sa mère lui révéla qu'il était son demi-frère. Elle s'unit donc au professeur, mais comprit très vite qu'il accordait plus d'attention à son travail qu'à elle. C'est alors qu'elle rencontra Elvira...
