What it’s about. عادل صحفى بإحدى الصحف الكبرى، مطلق وأعزب، سبق له الزواج الفاشل، وأنجب ابنة من زواجه، ذات مساء، وفى البار الذى يتردد عليه يرى نشأت الكاشف ابن رجل الأعمال المعروف فهمى الكاشف يقتل عامل البار مرسى ويصيب الراقصة نادية بعد أن رفضت المبيت بشقته، يبلغ عادل الشرطة ولكن فهمى الكاشف يتمكن بنفوذه من إبعاد التهمة عن ابنه، ينجح عادل فى الوصول إلى نادية الشاهدة الوحيدة وتدلى بأقوالها ويقدم نشأت للمحاكمة كما يقع عادل، وهو رجل مطلق فى غرام مشيرة مذيعة التليفزيون ابنة فهمى الكاشف من زوجته القديمة والتى تصور فى البداية أنها زوجته، يذهب عادل إلى المزرعة لإحضار الشاهدة لتعترف بأن نشأت هو القاتل، وفى المحكمة تحكم المحكمة ببراءة نشأت، فيصاب عادل بالإحباط، ويقوم بقتل فهمى الكاشف بواسطة البلطة وسط رجاله
