What it’s about. La haute société vient de perdre un de ses plus beaux fleurons. La marquise de Lagrune, respectable dame, a été proprement assassinée, à l'intérieur même de l'antique, mais somptueux, château familial. L'inspecteur Juve se charge immédiatement de l'enquête, persuadé quant à lui qu'il connaît parfaitement le coupable, un criminel à l'habileté diabolique qu'il s'ingénie depuis fort longtemps à tenter de prendre dans ses filets. Mais le malfaiteur en question, Fantômas, continue à sévir impunément.
