Malgré la distance spirituelle et la mauvaise entente qui règnent entre les deux personnages, Sebastian et Jalil n'en finiront pas d'en apprendre l'un de l'autre au détour des merveilleux paysages sud-américains. Un long périple de 2500km fait de rencontres, de rebondissements, de coups de gueule autour d'une amitié inter-générationnelle grandissante.
