What it’s about. A love story , about Rasmus, whom after failing as a painter has retreated himself from civilization as a lighthouse keeper 's assistant on a remote island . One day he discovers a driving rowboat with a very battered and unconscious young woman in it. Having revived her, he discovers that she has tried to commit suicide by poisoning herself . All external characteristics suggest that she is a well to do Lady , and when she is searched for on the radio , it turns out that her name is Mrs. Nina Berg from a wealthy area outside of Oslo. Based on Cora Sandels short story "Nina".
