What it’s about. Une étudiante en égyptologie, Erica Baron, se rend en Egypte pour travailler sur sa thèse. Elle a choisi un architecte : Menephta et ses réalisations comme sujet de thèse. Au cours de ses recherches, elle découvre que des pièces antiques font l'objet de trafic et elle est témoin du meurtre de l'un des trafiquants, marchand d'antiquités. Il a cependant le temps de lui montrer une magnifique statue qui la conduit sur la piste du tombeau perdu du pharaon Seti 1er. Elle se jette dans l'aventure de la chasse au trésor mais ce n'est bien évidemment pas sans danger.
