What it’s about. Au Pays basque français, près de Saint-Jean-les-Bains, le jeune Julien (Noriega) découvre un cadavre, enterré avec des bijoux, dans une voiture abandonnée au bord d'un ravin. Célere à la tentation, Julien emporte les bijoux. Il apprend plus tard par la presse que l'homme dans la voiture a été tué. Maria (Galiena), la logeuse qui l'héberge, le met en contact avec un guérisseur. Julien et Maria deviennent amants, partagent le butin et prennent la fuite .
