What it’s about. Né en 1973 en Afrique du Sud, d’un père écrivain très critique du système d’apartheid, Daniel Hope grandit à Londres suite à l’exil forcé de sa famille. Sa découverte du violon, il la doit à sa mère, secrétaire auprès de Yehudi Menuhin. Il rejoint ensuite le Beaux Arts Trio auprès du pianiste Menahem Pressler avant de se lancer dans une brillante carrière de soliste.
