What it’s about. Hélène et Jean, les parents de Nina, neuf ans, meurent dans un accident de la route. Quelques mois plus tard, devant la famille réunie, le juge des tutelles ouvre le testament qui désigne Thomas, le frère d'Hélène, comme le tuteur de Nina. Thomas, 35 ans, ingénieur du son à la radio, partage sa vie avec Hervé, architecte, depuis cinq ans. Thomas entrevoit son tutorat avec bonheur mais ce choix scandalise la famille et en particulier Agnès, la soeur de Jean, mère de deux enfants.
