What it’s about. Une histoire d'amour entre un paysan basque et un immigré péruvien. Ander a la quarantaine passée, il est paysan et vit dans un coin perdu de la Biscaye avec sa soeur Arantxa et leur vieille mère. Il mène une existence monotone et ne connaît que le travail, que ce soit à la ferme ou dans l'usine voisine. Alors qu'Arantxa doit bientôt se marier et laisser Ander s'occuper seul de leur mère, celui-ci se casse la jambe et doit rester plâtré pendant deux mois. Pour l'assister dans ses tâches, la famille embauche José, un travailleur péruvien. Le nouveau venu bouleverse bientôt les relations familiales en même temps qu'il trouble de plus en plus Ander...
