Airborne (1993) : distribution, intrigue et streaming

Released in 1993, Airborne is an action, comédie and aventure film directed by Rob Bowman, running about 91 minutes. “Mitchell became the most popular guy on Earth...once he took to the sky!” — that tagline sets the tone.

What it’s about. La vie est absolument idéale quand on habite à San Francisco, qu'on a 15 ans et tout son temps pour pratiquer le surf. C'est le cas de Mitchel, qui a deux passions dans la vie: le surf, bien sûr, et le patin à roulettes. Le bonheur paradisiaque de Mitchel est rompu le jour où ses parents doivent partir à l'étranger; on l'informe qu'il ira vivre chez ses oncles, à Cincinnati. Arrivé dans cette ville extrêmement industrialisée, il trouve plein de neige à la place de ses chères vagues déferlantes. De plus, tout le monde à l'école semble haïr le «pretty boy» californien. À Cincinnati il n'y a qu'un seul sport: le hockey. Mitchel saura-t-il s'adapter, et se démarquer?

How it landed. With an audience score of 5.9/10, Airborne has drawn a solid, mixed-to-positive response. It went on to earn $2.9M at the box office.
