What it’s about. Isabelle, chercheuse en biologie, est responsable d'un accident de la route au cours duquel Marie, une mère de famille trouve la mort. Anéantie, Isabelle est rongée par la culpabilité tandis que son compagnon essaie de l'aider à surmonter son malaise. Isabelle s'invente alors une identité et elle tente d'obtenir le pardon des deux enfants et du mari de la victime. Elle se fait embaucher comme baby-sitter pour garder les enfants, perburbés par la mort de leur mère, tandis que Marc, leur père, est inconsolable.
