What it’s about. Dans les rocheuses canadiennes Aldo, un aventurier et ancien pilote automobile, travail dans une mine d’or. Un jour de paie, la mine est attaquée. Seul Aldo et deux indiens survivent, parvenant à éliminer les assaillants. Les trois hommes mettent la main sur les caisses de pépites d’or, et décident de s’enfuir avec. Les indiens cherchent à se débarrasser d’Aldo, mais c’est finalement lui qui s’échappe avec l’or, jusqu’à ce qu’il le perde dans des rapides. De retour à Montréal, il va monter avec ses amis une expédition pour retrouver les caisses.
