What it’s about. Le Chevalier Long (Derek Yee) fête ses fiançailles en compagnie de sa future belle famille. Cependant, le même soir, un mystérieux personnage lui annonce le retour du Lézard Noir, une créature fantastique qui réapparaît tous les 3 ans pour tuer une personne vivant près du Lac du Lézard, et que sa prochaine victime serait sa fiancée (Helen Poon Bing Seung). D’étranges évènements surviennent : l’apparition d’un diable rouge, une réplique de sa fiancée en bois, le fantôme de sa belle tante morte à cause du Lézard Noir deux ans plus tôt, des meurtres suspects… Long va faire équipe avec un policier (Sun Chien) pour y voir plus clair.
