Depuis la chambre d’Edgar, on voyait les fenêtres du Führer, au deuxième étage. Pendant dix ans, Edgar a assisté à la montée du nazisme. Ce n’est pas tout. Edgar était juif. Edgar n’a quitté l’Allemagne qu’en 1939, deux mois avant l’invasion de la Pologne et la déclaration de guerre de la France et de la Grande-Bretagne. Juste à temps.
