Les cauchemars réveillent le Dr Fares et font de lui sa seule obsession de connaître la raison de rendre visite à sa mère décédée il y a un an et demi dans un rêve, ce qui l’a poussé à rouvrir le dossier de sa mort, et de là commence les événements du film, entre drame, suspense et enquête. Les étapes de l’histoire sont inspirées d’une histoire réelle, les protagonistes du film sont le Dr Faris, sa femme Inès et l’aide ménagère Sawsen.
