What it’s about. Il y a16 ans, Abeni une fille nigériane née d'une famille bourgeoise tomba amoureuse d'un garçon Akani fils de leur gardien de nationalité béninoise qui résidèrent pendant longtemps au Nigéria. Suite à un incident survenu lors de l'anniversaire d'Abeni âgée de 10 ans, chef Bello renvoya son gardien qui décida de retourner au Bénin avec sa famille. Au même moment chef Bello nourrissant de grandes ambitions pour sa fille décida d'envoyer Abeni étudier à Jos, une région du Nigéria, pour éviter la rencontre des deux enfants...
