What it’s about. Kwong Sun est une immigrée clandestine qui se fait avoir par Wang qui lui demande plus d’argent pour son passage à HK. Elle parvient cependant à lui échapper, mais se fait renverser par la voiture de Ho Ting Bon, un flic. Emmenée à l’hôpital, le policier lui rend visite fréquemment et en tombe amoureux. Quand elle quitte la clinique, il l’emmène chez lui et y vivent heureux... jusqu’au retour de Wang qui réclame son dû en kidnappant Kwong. Quand Ho trouve enfin l’argent demandé, il s’aperçoit que Wang a violé la belle. S’ensuit une bagarre où Kwong doit abattre son tortionnaire juste quand il allait tuer son amoureux. La vérité sur l’origine de Kwong est alors révélée et elle est obligée de retourner en Chine, après que Ho jure qu’ils seront un jour réunis à nouveau.)
