Trop effrayés pour suivre leurs coeurs, Marcello et Herman décident de jouer à un jeu, en utilisant un ancien dé. Ils établissent six actions à effectuer, une pour chaque côté : dire une vérité inconfortable, faire quelque chose que l’autre aime, inviter une troisième personne, faire quelque chose les yeux bandés, quitter l’appartement, baiser.
