Son père, ancien skinhead, ne supporte plus le comportement indolent, flemmard, rêveur et nocturne de son fils. Cette ambivalence, cette crise identitaire, va amener Étienne à un point de non-retour, un matin où son père lui ordonne de venir avec lui démonter un petit campement de réfugiés syriens aux abords du village.
