Le coup de foudre est immédiat entre Joe et Donna et, peu à peu, ces deux âmes blessées s'apprivoisent. Bobby, le demi-frère de Joe, lui demande de l'accompagner à un étrange rendez-vous en mer, sans lui dire que deux tueurs sont à ses trousses.
