What it’s about. Le colonel Carson revient chez lui et retrouve sa femme Janet, sa fille adolescente Kim et le jeune Ollie. Janet a un magasin de cupcakes et vient d'en acheter un second avec Thad, un entrepreneur playboy. Le colonel, souhaitant rester enfin auprès des siens, a tout de même quelques difficultés à s'adapter à sa nouvelle vie. Pour l'occuper, Janet lui propose de venir travailler au magasin de cupcakes : habitué à donner des ordres, c'est lui qui va en recevoir !
