Hassan, un chauffeur de navette somalo-américain en difficulté à l'aéroport de Minneapolis, emmène illégalement un passager nommé Lloyd à Chicago afin qu'il puisse rendre visite à sa mère mourante. En route, Hassan découvre que Lloyd porte un gilet anti-bombes et avoue avoir déclenché une bombe à l'aéroport de Minneapolis qui a tué cinq personnes.
