Participant à un concours de composition, Cyrus décroche le premier prix, mais, suite à une erreur, c'est son meilleur ami Kris McDuffy qui le gagne. Quand Cyrus le découvre, Kris lui demande de le laisser être le gagnant, car il sentait que Roxie était tombée amoureuse de lui, du coup Cyrus fait semblant d'être son D.J. pour pouvoir chanter à la place de Kris.
