What it’s about. L'histoire tourne autour de Keisuke Niijima, qui a perdu sa femme bien-aimée, Takae, il y a dix ans, et qui ne vit plus qu'avec sa fille, Mai. Ils ont tous deux traversé une période difficile depuis la mort de Takae. Un soir, une écolière rend visite à la famille Niijima, affirmant être la réincarnation de Takae. Au début, ils pensent qu'il s'agit d'une blague, mais la jeune fille continue à leur donner des informations que seule la famille connaît. Keisuke et Mai la reconnaissent comme Takae, et tous les trois commencent à se comporter comme une « famille » !
