What it’s about. La Global Guardian Force (GGF), créée en 1966 pour faire face à la vague mondiale d’attaques de kaiju, voit la situation s’aggraver alors que le réchauffement climatique intensifie les catastrophes. Lors d’une opération de nettoyage qui tourne mal, une unité des forces spéciales dirigée par Gento Hiruma se retrouve en grande difficulté, jusqu’à l’apparition d’un Ultraman. Gento est ensuite nommé à la tête du SKaRD (Special Kaiju Reaction Detachment), une unité secrète nouvellement formée qui utilise le robot Earth Garon pour combattre les kaiju. Il découvre également qu’il est devenu l’hôte d’Ultraman Blazar. À la tête du SKaRD, Gento affronte les kaiju tout en cherchant à comprendre la signification des visions qu’il reçoit d’une autre galaxie.
