What it’s about. Lupin III, un collégien de Tokyo qui ne trouve pas réellement de sens à sa vie, s’intéresse à un certain Daisuke Jigen : un tireur d’élite aussi mystérieux qu’impressionnant. Au cours d’une conversation entre les deux hommes dans une boite de nuit, Jigen conclut rapidement que Lupin III n’est qu’un garçon privilégié et naïf, sans intérêt, issu d’une famille aisée. Toutefois, tandis qu’il porte assistance à la chanteuse Yoko, poursuivie par un dangereux clan de Yakuzas, Jigen apprend que Lupin III est en réalité le descendant d’un légendaire voleur, ce qui a tôt fait d’attiser le feu de sa curiosité…
