What it’s about. D'après le best-seller de Franck Thilliez. Franck Sharko (45 ans) est un flic bourru et solitaire. Seule sa fille est avec lui au quotidien : Eugénie s’immisce partout. Notamment dans sa nouvelle enquête dans laquelle des enfants disparaissent mystérieusement tandis qu’un vieux film des années 60 provoque chez ceux qui le regardent des comportements étranges et dangereux. Lucie Henebelle, elle, a 35 ans. Elle aussi est flic, mère célibataire. Lorsqu’elle comprend que son passé est peut-être lié à l’enquête de Sharko, elle rejoint son équipe. La rencontre des deux policiers promet dès lors d’être électrique… Mais cette enquête va surtout les conduire du Maroc au Canada pour faire la lumière sur de troubles expérimentations scientifiques .
