Shi Yi Niang doit maintenant vivre comme épouse officielle chez les Xu, d'autant plus que son époux et sa famille sont biaisés envers elle à cause de son statut de fille de concubine. Elle doit aussi faire face aux jalousies des concubines de son mari. Shi Yi Niang compte alors sur son intelligence et sa gentillesse pour survivre mais aussi gagner l'amour de sa nouvelle famille et de son mari.
