What it’s about. Onotora Shu ne sait pas que son père adoptif est un tueur professionnel légendaire mais le découvre après que quelqu'un l'ait assassiné. Onotora décide de reprendre l'entreprise familiale et de devenir un tueur à gages afin de venger son père adoptif. Il est bien préparé lorsqu'il approche Narumiya Mitsuki qui est sa cible d'assassinat. Malgré ses capacités physiques de tueur à gages, il ne parvient pas à la tuer à cause de son mauvais timing, peu importe ses efforts. Au contraire, il finit par la protéger à l'approche du danger. Ces deux-là, qui ne devraient pas tomber amoureux, vivent une romance improbable.
