What it’s about. 1912. Alors qu'il prépare l'union de sa fille, Catherine, avec le jeune Watherstone, Arthur Winslow est tout à coup accaparé par un autre problème. Mais le jeune garçon est formel : il n'a pas dérobé le mandat postal de cinq shillings. Dès lors, Arthur va consacrer toute ses forces à lever les charges qui pèsent sur son fils.
