Un an plus tard, ses pas croisent Mikel Renteria et Mentxu Mendieta de la Fondation WOP, qui décident que la deuxième tentative à Paiju Peak sera la première étape de leur projet WOPeak. Les trois membres de la cordée atterrissent de nouveau au Pakistan. Des décors identiques, un même objectif et une motivation maximale pour un défi au-delà de l'alpinisme dans un parcours plein d'émotions qui se termine par l'ouverture d'une nouvelle route au cœur du Karakorum qu'ils ont baptisé "2T".
