Sur le chemin, elle fait la rencontre de Zuo Zhen, chef d'une triade à Shanghai et après une série d'accidents et de malentendus, les deux protagonistes tombent amoureux l'un de l'autre. Cependant, revenu depuis peu à Shanghai, Xiang Ying Dong, l'ami de Zuo Zhen, se rapproche de Jin Xiu rendant ainsi jaloux ce dernier. De plus, le meurtrier des parents de Jin Xiu est à la recherche de celle-ci...
