What it’s about. Akiho Takeda est affectée à l'équipe d'enquête no 3 du Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department chargée des vols. Son premier jour de travail, un cambriolage a lieu dans une bijouterie à Shibuya. L'affaire est prise en charge par l'équipe d'enquête n°1 à laquelle Akiho espérait se joindre car le bijoutier a été tué. Néanmoins, Akiho se rend secrètement à la bijouterie où le vol a eu lieu. Là, elle voit un homme suspect parmi les spectateurs. Elle le poursuit et le met en état d'arrestation. Mais cet homme est le détective Shuichi Hagio, qui travaille aussi pour l'équipe d'enquête no 3. Il devient son partenaire et son mentor lui apprenant comment fonctionne le milieu des voleurs.
