What it’s about. En 1910, à Séoul, un étudiant en médecine, Gwang-soo, découvre par hasard un cadavre en plein milieu des bois. Sans véritablement réfléchir, Gwang-soo voit dans ce corps la possibilité de pratiquer une autopsie. Le jeune garçon décide alors de ramener le corps chez lui. Il se révèle que, malheureusement pour le jeune étudiant, le cadavre est celui du fils d'un haut fonctionnaire parmi les plus influents du gouvernement. De peur que la police ne veuille lui mettre le meurtre du jeune garçon sur le dos, Gwang-soo décide de s'offrir les services d'un détective privé, Hong Jin-ho, pour l'aider à mettre la main sur le véritable assassin. Mais bientôt, un autre cadavre est découvert dans les mêmes circonstances...
