Maken-ki! (2011) : distribution, intrigue et streaming

Released in 2011, Maken-ki! is an animation, comédie and action et aventure series.

What it’s about. Après avoir passé trois années à étudier dans un collège réservé aux garçons, Takeru se décide à rentrer dans un lycée mixte dans lequel il retrouve son amie d'enfance Hotaru. Cependant, ne s'étant pas réellement renseigné avant l'inscription, il s'aperçoit que l'établissement sort de l'ordinaire de par son fonctionnement. En effet, chaque élève possède un Maken, une arme invoquée liée à un élément, et peut demander en duel n'importe quel camarade. Un véritable problème se pose alors pour Takeru qui ne possède pas de Maken et se retrouve par conséquent incapable de se défendre.

Who’s in it. Maken-ki! stars Tomoaki Maeno as Takeru Ōyama, Sayuri Yahagi as Kodama, Iori Nomizu as Inaho Kushiya and Misuzu Togashi as Azuki Shinatsu, among others.

How it landed. With an audience score of 7.2/10, Maken-ki! has been warmly received by audiences.
