What it’s about. Un groupe de cinq étudiants en médecine se charge de transmettre la "voix des morts". Kaji Daiki ne parvient pas à être sélectionné dans le cursus sur la chirurgie cardiaque, mais il est accepté dans celui sur la pathologie médico-légale. Le professeur Sagawa le met au défi en lui demandant pourquoi il veut étudier la chirurgie cardiaque. Daiki lui répond que la médecine n'a plus de sens après l'arrêt du cœur, mais Sagawa lui répond que la médecine s'applique aussi aux morts. Ainsi, avec ses camarades Ryosuke, Kanako, Teppei et Akira, Daiki commence à explorer les mystères de la mort.
